Introducing Kairos, the new seating solution for stadiums and arenas. Entirely developed by the Figueras Design & Innovation Hub, it was created to meet the needs of general seating areas—from standard to premium configurations—thanks to its versatile accessories and finishes. This solution combines the ergonomics of double-walled blow-molded plastic with extreme resistance for heavy-duty use. Its fast installation system and certified eco-design ensure maximum operational efficiency for any project.
The experience we live in a venue is not based on a single sensation sustained throughout the event. It is composed of specific moments where our experience gains value. The moment of a goal, the silence before the final play, or the first chords of our favorite band’s performance.
In this context, there is a distinction in the perception of time that the Greeks already recognized, based on the difference between chronological time and the opportune moment. That moment, which moves away from linear time, is called Kairos. The moment that lasts, the time that stays etched in memory. That which makes what we have lived unforgettable.
Under this premise, Figueras has designed a seat that completes our sports range and is conceived to elevate the category of general admission in stadiums, arenas, and multipurpose venues. A solution capable of absorbing the energy of those moments and enhancing them through ergonomics, aesthetics, sustainability, and durability.
Tested resistance under the most demanding standards
For spectators to live those moments without interruptions from their environment, the seat must disappear, which means it must not create problems. No issues with comfort, maintenance, or durability. In stadiums and arenas, this requires a resistance that goes far beyond the conventional.
Kairos has been designed and tested for installation in high-traffic spaces. Through the application of anti-UV filters and anti-corrosion treatments, it remains impeccable after years of exposure to sun or rain, drastically reducing maintenance costs and preserving the venue’s image.
Installation that respects the construction Schedule
In large sports projects, delays in the final installation phase of the seating have a direct impact on the opening date. Kairos is installed using the Fast Track rail mounting system, with only two anchoring points per seat.
This simplicity reduces on-site installation times and provides the necessary flexibility to make subsequent adjustments without structural interventions.

Adaptable seat centers
Thanks to this rail installation, Kairos can adapt to different center-to-center spacing starting from 470mm, allowing you to optimize the capacity of each zone without compromising spectator comfort.
Its dimensions and functionality comply with FIFA recommendations for sports facilities, making it a suitable solution for projects with federation requirements from the bidding phase.
Versatility for a venue that never stops
Efficiency in installation is the starting point, but the real profitability of a venue is measured by its capacity for use throughout the year. A modern stadium needs to transform quickly to host multiple events, from cup finals or massive concerts to corporate events, all in the same calendar.
Kairos favors this versatility thanks to the possibility of integration into telescopic stands, allowing the space configuration to be changed in a matter of minutes.
Customization is also a key component for modern stadiums and multipurpose venues. This seat has multiple accessories that allow the solution to be adapted to each area or venue, adding upholstery, fixed or tip-up arms, different types of cup holders, or even a panic bar. Every zone and its needs are covered thanks to the multiple configurations of Kairos, adapting the aesthetic with a solution that fits the user of each area and facility.

Eco-design without compromise
The operational efficiency of Kairos goes hand in hand with environmental responsibility, part of the Figueras DNA. This seat was created under the eco-design criteria set out in the ISO 14006 standard, using recycled polypropylene components and ensuring that all its parts are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life.
This material traceability facilitates obtaining international sustainability certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, and WELL, which are increasingly part of the awarding requirements in public and private infrastructure projects.

Inspired by an icon
When the Figueras Design & Innovation Hub defined the visual identity of Kairos, the inspiration was the Trolley, an industrial design benchmark recognized for its strength and its long-lasting relevance over time. The ribbed lines that run through the seat’s structure provide structural rigidity to the set and give it a timeless character.
Manufactured with two pieces of double-walled blow-molded plastic, it features an internal air chamber that acts as a cushion, providing a welcoming feeling to the spectator that elevates the comfort of general admission without adding structural complexity or maintenance costs.
The design of the general stands is a strategic decision about what type of experience the venue offers to the majority of its public. Kairos stems from the conviction that every spectator, regardless of where they are seated, deserves to enjoy that quality time, that unique moment, that Kairos.
