A new theatre has just opened in Barcelona. This small theatre is in a former warehouse in Olivereta Square, in Barcelona’s Sants district, and approaches theatre with a very different concept to the traditional theatres. The Heartbreak Hotel opened its doors by the end of 2023 to bring the theatre “closer so that the interpretive work in which we specialize can be fully appreciated”, as Alex Rigola, its director, stated.
We had the pleasure to equip this very special room with our Minispace 5067 seat, in two different configurations for its 72 spectators: fixed seating for the rear rows and a Mutawheel seating system for the front rows, giving versatility to the space and allowing different layouts depending on the play being performed at any given time.
