With over 21,500 seats installed, Figueras has fully equipped the venue—from the general seating areas to the VIP and press sections.
Figueras Seating was the company responsible for supplying seating solutions for every zone of the new Stade Olympique Annexe Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, formerly Stade Moulay Abdellah. Designed by the local firm Orange Atelier, the new facility offers more than 21,000 seats. Its expansive west stand, topped by a crescent‑shaped membrane, embraces the nine‑lane track certified by World Athletics, while a perimeter trench safely separates spectators from athletes.
In a facility of this scale, comfort is as important as architecture. That is why Figueras Seating, in collaboration with Maroc Bureau, fully outfitted the stadium with two iconic models (Amik and Top) and a new solution: the Chronos seat:
- 17,850 Amik seats for the general seating areas
- 2,520 Chronos seats for the Silver Premium zone
- 393 Top seats for the VIP areas
- 40 Megaseat 8036 for the VVIP zone
- Custom-made tables for the press area, integrating electronics with Chronos seats on rotatory base for 214 users
Each model was selected with durability, minimal maintenance, and—of course—the comfort of fans in mind.

About the Stade Olympique Annexe Prince Moulay Abdellah
When the old Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah closed its doors in the summer of 2023, Rabat was briefly without its iconic athletics track. Rather than abandon its sporting heritage, the Moroccan capital planted the seed of a new, ambitious project: an Olympic‑standard track‑and‑field stadium. Today, the Stade Olympique Annexe Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, inaugurated on May 25, 2025, stands as a symbol of comfort, innovation, and international collaboration.
After the old stadium was demolished, Maroc Bureau took on the challenge of coordinating local logistics, from transportation planning to supplier management. Working closely with Figueras, they ensured that the supply and installation of all three seating types were completed on schedule. The result: a venue ready to welcome thousands of spectators for its first official event, the Mohammed VI International Meeting of the Diamond League, on May 25.
Although conceived for athletics and its multiple disciplines, the Rabat Olympic Stadium does not forsake the world’s most popular sport. Its natural grass pitch also hosts football matches for major events such as the 2025–2026 Africa Cup of Nations, beginning in December.
In this way, the stadium becomes a truly multifunctional space, capable of adapting to different sports and audiences.
