The Médiathèque des Capucins, with around 120,000 works available to the public, occupies the large nave and part of the small rooms of what was the convent of the Capuchin monks of Brest, which in other times was also a hospital and later industrial workshops.
In 2010, the Canal Achitecture studio started an ambitious project that consisted of reusing part of these workshops while preserving the exterior architecture to house the media library. The building also has an auditorium with 195 Minispace 5064 seats with automatic folding, one of the most compact seats in Figueras, with elegant and modern lines and custom apple green upholstery. The perfect option for auditoriums that need to maximize space without sacrificing comfort.
