In the heart of Innsbruck, Experience Tirol offers an interactive and immersive journey that invites visitors to discover the history, culture, landscapes, and future of Tirol through a sensory experience powered by cutting-edge technology.
The tour unfolds across different themed rooms combining virtual reality, 360º projections, mapping, holograms, and immersive environments. Figueras Seating contributed to Stage 2, a space designed to fully immerse visitors in Tirol’s history, narrated by historical characters from the region through virtual reality technology.
For this experience, Figueras Seating equipped the room with 30 fully customized Woody RT 2312/M seats. Their 360º rotation system allows viewers to freely explore the virtual environment from every angle, enhancing the sense of total immersion.
The main challenge was adapting the seats to integrate the technology required by Kraftwerk Living Technologies without compromising comfort or aesthetics. Figueras developed a solution that incorporates a technical box in the backrest to house the CPU and VR systems, as well as a hollow base to conceal all cabling, ensuring a clean and safe installation.
The result is a seating solution that ceases to be a simple piece of furniture and becomes an essential part of the technological device that makes the experience possible, a perfect balance of design, functionality, and technology that places the user at the heart of the story.
