Figueras Seating, Premio Nacional de Diseño en 2013, forma parte de la muestra oficial a través de sus emblemáticos modelos Flame y Lyon como referentes de innovación en equipamiento colectivo.
Figueras Seating is taking part in the 2026 edition of Feria Hábitat València as one of the firms selected for the retrospective exhibition of the National Innovation and Design Awards. The show brings together four decades of Spanish design to highlight the strategic role of industry in transforming products, interior spaces, and manufacturing processes.
The exhibition forms part of València Inspira Diseño 2026, an extensive trade fair platform hosted at Feria Valencia that brings together Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI, and the 360 by Cevisama area. Spanning over 110,000 square meters and hosting 1,200 exhibiting brands, the event delivers an integrated overview of contract interiors aimed at architects, interior designers, and global specifiers.
Two iconic designs in the history of industrial seating
Within this historical survey of Spanish design, Figueras Seating, awarded the Spanish National Design Award in 2013, presents its Flame and Lyon armchairs in the official showcase area (N2P6 Bis).
Both models reflect precision engineering and ergonomics applied to high-traffic public venues. Including Flame and Lyon in the curated selection alongside key designers and manufacturers reflects the company’s track record in developing seating systems that balance functional performance, operational longevity, and refined aesthetic standards.
Promoted jointly by Feria Valencia and the General Secretariat for Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, the retrospective is complemented by technical panel discussions at the Ágora Nude, exploring design as a strategic tool for competitiveness and global industrial outreach.
